Six months after the start of registration, HOLZ-HANDWERK 2026 is picking up speed – with a tailwind from a strong trade fair year 2024. Numerous companies have already confirmed their participation in the upcoming edition at an early stage, underlining the importance of the European trade fair for Machine Technology, Equipment and Supplies for the Wood Crafts.
Whether loyal exhibitors, well-known returnees or newcomers: HOLZ-HANDWERK proves its importance as a central industry meeting point even in economically challenging times. Those who exhibit here not only position themselves visibly in the market but are also future proof.
The event space at the trade fair is therefore already well-booked. “Following the successful 2024 edition, we are delighted with the continued high level of interest in HOLZ-HANDWERK,” says Stefan Dittrich, Director for HOLZ-HANDWERK. “The current registrations clearly show that the industry is looking to the future – with drive, innovative spirit and a desire for personal dialogue: close to practice and relevant for the future of the trade.”
For Leitz GmbH & Co. KG, the trade fair is also a favorite. “What makes HOLZ-HANDWERK so special for us is the direct dialogue with the people who use our tools every day. Craftsmen who work with passion and precision and know exactly what is important. Their requirements and ideas are invaluable to us, as they give us decisive impulses for new, practical solutions. Genuine innovations are created where we are in direct dialogue with them. HOLZ-HANDWERK is therefore not just a trade fair for us – it is also a place where we create prospects for the future together with our customers. Being represented in Nuremberg is self-evident for us as a partner in the industry and especially in the skilled trades,” says Jürgen Köppel, CEO of Leitz GmbH & Co. KG.
The WEINIG Group also meets the right target group at the trade fair. “We were very satisfied with the quality of visitors at HOLZ-HANDWERK 2024. The focus was clearly on the craft-oriented customer – a key segment that we specifically address with our broad product portfolio. The discussions on site were very specific and of high quality,” explains Benedikt Schneider, Director of Central Marketing at WEINIG Group.
It is particularly pleasing that companies that had recently taken a break will also be represented again in 2026, including the Altendorf Group: "We always keep an eye on HOLZ-HANDWERK as a central industry platform and are convinced that we will meet the right contacts for our innovative sliding table saws and edge banding machines there. That's why we'll be back in 2026 after a break and are looking forward to exchanging ideas with existing and potential customers," says Matthias Picker, CEO of the Altendorf Group.
Interested parties can view all currently registered exhibitors in the preliminary exhibitor overview on the HOLZ-HANDWERK website. This will be updated regularly. FENSTERBAU FRONTALE, which will once again take place alongside HOLZ-HANDWERK 2026, has already received a positive number of registrations: the world’s leading trade fair for windows, doors and facades is very well booked.
Knowledge transfer for the future of the skilled trades
From 24 to 27 March 2026, the motto in Nuremberg will be once again: “Experience. Discover. Do.” In 2024, the trade fair duo HOLZ-HANDWERK and FENSTERBAU FRONTALE registered around 75,000 visitors and 973 exhibitors from the woodworking, window, door, and façade construction sectors. Once again, both trade fairs can be visited at the same time with one ticket. Visitors can thus benefit from the synergies of both trade fairs.
Next year, HOLZ-HANDWERK will be again all about experience. Anyone who wants to find out about current industry trends, pioneering technologies and practical solutions will find numerous places to go. Start-ups will present their latest ideas and products at the Young Innovators Pavilion. Young talent and fresh impulses take center stage here to enrich the industry in the long term.
The new HOLZ-HANDWERK Arena, a central platform for knowledge transfer and industry dialogue, will celebrate its premiere in 2026. Whether lectures, discussion panels or best practices from the field: the arena will be a vibrant meeting place for everyone who wants to develop and network.
The supporting programme has even more to offer: Visitors can again look forward to the HOLZ-HANDWERK Campus and Focus Interior Doors. Other formats invite visitors to exchange ideas, learn, and network.
