Stefanie Haug and Jasmin McNally: 3 Questions – 3 Facts!
A portrait of the HOLZ-HANDWERK team. Today: PR Team Stefanie Haug and Jasmin McNally
What is the most exciting thing about HOLZ-HANDWERK for you?
We like the working character of the fair! The fact that products and solutions can be experienced live is what distinguishes the event. It's loud in the halls, there's testing and demonstrating, trying things out hands-on. That's also what’s most fun for us!
Where is the best place to find you when the exhibition takes place?
During the event, we go back and forth between the various appointments and locations. Here a press conference in the Hong Kong hall, there a press tour in the halls, another interview at NCC Ost or a visit to the exhibitor booths in the halls... But our "headquarters" is the Press Centre, where we answer questions, get in touch with our colleagues and enjoy meeting old familiar faces and making new contacts.
On the evening of the last day of the fair: What do you do first?
We certainly don't go straight home! It is a tradition that the teams of HOLZ-HANDWERK and FENSTERBAU FRONTALE get together after four exhausting days of events to toast to success. Prosecco, pizza and many personal highlight moments of the fairs are shared. The adrenaline level drops considerably and a feeling of satisfaction, coupled with a bit of pride in what has been achieved, spreads. At the same time, however, there is always a sense of melancholy that the many months of intensive joint preparation are now coming to an end. But fortunately, the next cycle begins after the weekend! J
What you probably didn't know about Stefanie Haug and Jasmin McNally:
We prefer to travel abroad on business to ...
... Italy, where we often organise press conferences together with our colleagues from our subsidiary NürnbergMesse Italia to inform the trade publications relevant to HOLZ-HANDWERK about the exhibition and thus support the preliminary reporting in one of our countries with the most exhibitors and visitors. Of course, we have nothing against the mild climate, the Milanese flair and the terrific food! Italy is always worth a visit and only a stone's throw away from Nuremberg – and vice versa, which is of course reflected in the high number of participants at our events.
Fun Fact about Stefanie Haug:
My first HOLZ-HANDWERK 6 years ago was like coming home for me. As a carpenter's daughter and granddaughter, I grew up with the smell of wood. While other toddlers learned animal sounds before they learned their first real word, I imitated the sound of a circular saw in response to my father's question "What does the machine sound like?“.
Jasmin McNally's personal motto in life and work:
"Actually, why not?"
