PREBENA Type Q ETA Staples Now Approved for Fastening Roof Battens!

Schotten – With a new expert opinion, PREBENA has achieved an important milestone for the roofing trade: Type Q 1.8 mm staples in accordance with ETA 16/0101 (stainless and heavily galvanized) are now officially approved for the load-bearing fastening of roof battens. This marks the first time that normatively validated proof is available for the use of staples instead of nails in this application.

PREBENA Wilfried Bornemann GmbH & Co. KG commissioned VHT GmbH in Darmstadt to prepare a comprehensive expert assessment.
