HOLZ-HANDWERK will not take place in 2020

Looking ahead together - next event in March 2022

Against the background of the continuing corona pandemic and its effects on the world economy, NürnbergMesse and the VDMA in agreement with the Department for Environment and Health of the City of Nürnberg has decided not to hold HOLZ-HANDWERK in combination with FENSTERBAU FRONTALE 2020.

We know: You, dear customers, are directly affected by the uncertain situation.
It is leading to a declining willingness to invest in the timber trade and the woodworking industry, combined with declining sales and production stops. At the same time, in many places restricted business activities due to official orders and international travel restrictions make it difficult for you to plan and prepare your participation. For all of us, the priority now must be to address the economic impact of the corona pandemic. In 2022 HOLZ-HANDWERK can once again be the central business platform for the woodworking trade in a stronger economic environment.

Statement of Stefan Dittrich, HOLZ-HANDWERK Director

"We would like to thank our customers for numerous trusting and constructive discussions. The need for information and exchange will be greater than ever after this crisis. As the leading trade fair, HOLZ-HANDWERK will continue to offer the sectors orientation in the future and remain the platform for business success. That is why we are now looking ahead and setting the course for 2022. We are convinced that nothing can replace personal contact, even in the business world."
Stefan Dittrich, HOLZ-HANDWERK Director

In the future it is still important to come together to achieve more.

Current events are creating unprecedented challenges for us all.
The whole world is going through a turbulent period, with dynamics no-one can calculate. COVID-19 is spreading around the world, and we are all being called on to avoid all social contact as much as possible. Health as our highest good is endangered as rarely before and must therefore be protected.

Take care of yourself and stay healthy!

We are already looking forward to our reunion in 2022! After all, we are absolutely convinced that it will remain vital in future for people to gather, meet and interact, so they can achieve more in combination.
