For some years now, furniture and furnishings in a metallic look have become indispensable and there is no sign of this popularity abating. Copper, brass, chrome and other metallic shades are stylish eye-catchers. The metallic trend is omnipresent.

Following this mega-trend, Hesse has launched a metallic fan with over a hundred colour tones in classic metallic shades, but also in fancy shades. The colours are painted on foil. This has the advantage that the front of the foil shows the original gloss of the lacquer, while the back shows the gloss of a high-gloss or rear-glass lacquer.

After the successful FANTASTIC family, now comes the water-based lacquer variant, the COOL family. It consists of the filler COOL-FILL, the colour varnish COOL-COLOR and the colourless base and top coat COOL-TOP. As usual with the FANTASTICs, the COOL family also masters most surface requirements in high-quality interior finishing. And it is also low-emission, flame-retardant and sustainable. Because the requirements of the "Blue Angel" eco-label and the DGNB criteria of quality level 4 are met.

The trend towards exclusive, high-quality oiled surfaces continues unabated. The individual charm of the wood, which is underlined by the open-pored look and feel, is preserved for a long time through the use of premium oils from the extensive Hesse oil range. The high-quality oils, above all COLOR-SOLID-OIL, protect the wood optimally with just one application. Hesse COLOR-SOLID-OIL is a coloured, low-odour and extremely low-solvent HIGH-SOLID natural oil. It consists of almost 98 percent renewable raw materials.

Natural matt surfaces, raw wood effect or Scandinavian style are currently at the top of the list for interior surface design. The customer wants to feel the wood and enjoy the warm character of the surface with all his senses.  At the same time, the wood should not be stained and should retain its natural matt appearance. The lacquer and stain specialist Hesse from Hamm has an answer for this: Fantastic Natura - for a look and feel like raw wood.

The demand for ecological surfaces for high-quality furniture, stairs, parquet floors and other furnishings made of real wood is unbroken. Following this trend, Hesse-Lignal has put together an extensive oil programme. A highlight of the Hesse oil programme is the new Wetprotect-Oil. It impregnates the wood fibre particularly well and thus protects the substrate even better against the effects of moisture. The new Wetprotect-Oil can be used for stairs, kitchen and bathroom furniture and on all common types of wood. Due to its ability to protect the substrate, it is also recommended for use in damp rooms.
