The NC Machining Center STEGHERR type GLS-2 can mitre-cut glass strips, weather bars or similar profiles of wood, aluminum MDF or PVC at any angle between +45° and –45°with servo controlled angle adjustment in two planes. The cutting angles are set in the machine program and positioning of the cutting heads is achieved over a servo controlled axis. Speed adjustment of the working stroke in the programme is servo controlled as well.
The machine can be equipped with additional work units for punching, drilling, sawing and milling.
Accurate positioning of the workpieces over a NC pusher.
Connection of an inkjet, label or laser printer is possible as well.
The machine can be upgraded to fully automatic operation by mounting customized workpiece
conveyors. Operator friendly machine program for easy operation both in the manual and the online mode.
