INVIS® invisible, detachable joining
Today, we proudly present our latest development: A completely new joining system which allows solid joining of work-pieces without any visible joining element. In fact, the construction looks like glued, however, in reality, is screwed together and can be detached at any given time. The principle applied in the system is the one of a magnet driven screw which allows no-touch opening and closing of the joining element. The joining element is placed within the construction material and remains completely invisible. The actuator operates through the building material. Thus no access opening to the joiner is needed; a cover to hide the opening is superfluous.
The innovative principle of INVIS has been widely recognised and has won a number of awards: The German „Bundesinnovationspreis 2000“, at the „Approfal 2001“ in Paris a „Mention“, at the Eurobois 2001 in Lyon/F the „Lyon d’Or“, the main award for Innovative Products of this important industrial show. Most recently, INVIS was awarded the „Innovationspreis beider Basel 2001“. As a consequence, INVIS has gained a lot of attention in professional magazines. It was featured in details in the „Schweizerische Schreiner Zeitung“ (Issue 2/2001) and in „dds“ („Der Deutsche Schreiner - The German Cabinet Maker“) (Issue 3/2001). We are convinced that INVIS is the basis for a sound continued growth of the Lamello group.
