The TBS 500 Benchtop belt sander is a compact Belt sander with a swivelling unit. This band sander sets high standards in safety, ease of operation, high precision sanding results and offers wide applications. The maximum sanding length is 530 mm.

The Table Drum Sander TWS 230 from HEGNER is ideal for sanding any kind of Fretwork. Extremely useful for removing the paper patterns and any left over glue and removing any jagged edges on the rear side of fine Fretwork. Various types of large or small work can be sanded with the TWS 230.
Easy to handle; the sanding table is easily adjustable with a centrally placed knurled screw, so that only the minimum of material is removed. The abrasive belts, with different grits available, allow precise sanding and are easy and quick to change. The exactly shaped abrasive belts use a Velcro fixing and are wound in seconds around the sanding drum.
The work piece is placed on the table and gently moved over the sanding drum with enough pressure to be able to hold the work piece. lt will not fly away as with a Belt Sander. A rip fence is available as an accessory for use in the sanding of the edges of small boards.

On the right side of the TWS 230 there is the provision for fitting a dust extractor (58 mm diameter) or vacuum cleaner, for the removal of dust.
