The CR 27 is a dynamically rigid 5-axis machining center, with a fixed bridge and moving table, designed for producing, furniture, interior and exterior joinery components, in soft and hardwood. The outstanding smoothness, the minimal play with small tolerances and the high performance reflect the experience of MAKA in mechanical engineering, accumulated over more than six decades.
In the basic version, the CR 27 is equipped with a vacuum plate (or matrix) type table. In addition, twin table versions are also available, for non-stop tandem production. This allows changeover loading and minimizes non-productive times for loading and unloading. The working space in the basic configuration is 1.5 x 1.5 m with a maximum z-axis height of 420 mm. Optionally, the cube dimension can be extended. The two tables may also be coupled, which then doubles the cubic working area. A chain-type tool changer containing up to 51 tools, combined with a tool shuttle ensures a maximum flexibility and slashes tool changing times
The fully enclosed CR 27 has an NC adjustable chip collecting system with slat curtain. To protect the electrical equipment from dust and dirt, a special seal is available. The machine is characterized by easy loading and cleaning. Intelligent clamping devices ensure flexible and stable clamping without compromise. By laying the work processes in the rear of the machine, the CR 27 achieves a particularly high safety standard.
The CR 27 is equipped with the latest control generation Sinumerik 840D SL from Siemens, which has an open and modular system character. Alternatively, a BWO controller is available. All common customary software solutions can be integrated by MAKA specialists.
