Technical Training Lab Details

These days, machine-based work is an essential component of training for the woodworking professions. For this reason, setting up, safely operating and maintaining machinery and the tools it uses are core skills that must be learnt.
The “Machinery room” is used to teach these skills. It contains stationary machinery with workstations specialising in particular functions. In this room, trainees will learn the basic skills required for modern methods of working materials. Training will also be given in how to safely use woodworking machinery as part of machinery courses.
