WEMA JOKER 7000 a significant product pertaining to our delivery scope, is the forerunner of an entirely new generation of hydraulic duplicating lathes. The copying support and slide which run on hardened and ground ball transfer guides are features which are particularly worth mentioning.
The duplicating lathe chisels are located very close to the revolving collar plate even on the double copying support. The different types of collar plates and accessory parts can all be retrofitted at any time, thus permitting the machine to be fitted to the changing requirements in the client’s shop.
The drive unit for the support advance is fitted to the rear of the machine in order to provide plenty of space and freedom of movement on the operating side.
The operating and control elements are both coordinated on a travelling control panel. All wires and ducts are collected in an energy guide chain to prevent disturbances and save space. The displacement of the templates is possible both from the front and the rear by means of fine-pitch threaded spindles. The precutting and duplicating lathe chisels are fitted with precision settings. Thanks to precision depth-setting spindles it is possible to obtain extremely accurate turning diameters. The equipment variants include rotary collar plates with various interchangeable rings and steplessly adjustable four-jaw collar plates. The infinitely variable spindle speed permits a quick adjustment to the optimum speed, hence warranting top turning quality. The duplicating process is also possible in reverse motion, permitting an entirely tear-free processing of the squared beam blanks with a cut that is accurate to measurement without any loss. The tailstock sleeve is available with an articulated quick-action lever upon request. The particularly heavy cast iron base is completely rigid and torsion-free.
The machine is available as a single duplicating or as a double duplicating lathe and can be retrofitted to a CNC lathe. It is also possible to use the machine as a manual turning lathe.
