Ferwood’s roots date back to more than two decades of activity in the sector of wood working machines, carpentry workshops and Luigi’s accessories; the “L” leads the way to the “F” for Federica, to the “E” for Edoardo and to the “R” for Riccardo (the letters which make the word “Wood” are naturally self-explanatory). From the first machine sold in 1974 to date, Ferwood has become a household name for the quality of products it sells worldwide.
What are the core values upon which Ferwood has been founded and consolidated? The values of a lifetime, those which hold out against the weight of years, a changing world, new competition: the almost obsessive search for quality, attention to detail, knowledge and expertise in the sector, abundant enthusiasm in everyday activities, including the routine kind, curiosity and the desire to tackle goals which are both realistic and ambitious. They are values which are part of a rigid manual to memorise and make public to gain people’s trust, but which are part of the cultural background of all the people who work at whatever level in Ferwood.
